Our sincere thanks to McDonalds in the Community Foundation for their recent generous donations towards ‘Stewart's Forever Home’, together with Sullivan’s Heroes.
The £5,000 generously donated to Sullivan’s Heroes charity will be used towards grants for home adaptations for disabled children being supported by the charity.
The foundation have also funded the remainder of ‘Stewart's Forever Home’ adaptations project, with an amazing £69,850 donated to fund the shortfall of the works to extend and restructure the family home to provide an accessible ground floor bedroom and bathroom for Stewart with equipment and hoisting throughout; plus create level access throughout the ground floor, together with accessible living space and external access for Stewart.
Working within the McDonald’s franchise, Stewart’s father is delighted to have been able to get the works underway now these funds are in place to make the life-changing enhancements to Stewart’s home, which are required to meet his needs.
